21st ANNUAL CHOPIN COMPETITION
2022 WinnersTHE COMPETITION
On Saturday, September 17, 2022, musicians aged 9-17 competed in front of two distinguished judges: Dr. Young-Ah Tak of the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and Dr. Dan Sato of the Setnor School of Music at Syracuse University. The competition is divided into three age groups (Chopin Novice, Chopin Apprentice, and Chopin Master) with the winner and runner-up of each group winning a cash prize. The Chopin Mazurka Award and the Chopin Etude Award were created as an optional award for the Apprentice and Master levels respectively. THE WINNERS CONCERT The award winners perform in the Winners Concert Sunday afternoon, the following day. These are the recordings from the Winner's Concert. |
