2019 Winners

On Saturday, September 14, 2019, 29 musicians of the ages of 6-19 competed in front of two distinguished judges: Dr. Charis Dimaras and Dr. Dmitri Novgorodsky from Ithica College.

The competition is divided into three age groups (Chopin Novice, Chopin Apprentice, and Chopin Master) with the winner and runner-up of each group winning a cash prize. The Chopin Mazurka Award and the Chopin Etude Award were created as an optional award for the Apprentice and Master levels respectively. The award winners then perform in the Winners Concert the following afternoon. Here are the recordings of this year's winners at the Chopin Piano Competition Winners Concert.
