2017 WinnersOn Saturday, September 16, 2017, 29 musicians of the ages of 6-19 competed in front of two distinguished judges: Dr. Jeffrey Francom and Julie Welsh Miller from the Crane School of Music.
The competition is divided into three age groups (Chopin Novice, Chopin Apprentice, and Chopin Master) with the winner and runner-up of each group winning a cash prize. The Chopin Mazurka Award and the Chopin Etude Award were created to award the 2nd Runner-Up in the Apprentice and Master levels respectively.
