20TH ANNIVERSARY CHOPIN COMPETITION
2021 WinnersOn Saturday, September 18, 2021, musicians of the ages of 6-19 competed in front of two distinguished judges: Dr. Ida Tili-Trebicka from The Setnor School of Music, Syracuse University and Dr. Elena Nezhdanova, from Opus Ithaca School of Music.
The competition is divided into three age groups (Chopin Novice, Chopin Apprentice, and Chopin Master) with the winner and runner-up of each group winning a cash prize. The Chopin Mazurka Award and the Chopin Etude Award were created as an optional award for the Apprentice and Master levels respectively. The award winners then perform in the Winners Concert the following afternoon. Here are the recordings of this year's winners at the Chopin Piano Competition Winners Concert.
