Capital District Council for Young Musicians
The Capital District Council for Young Musicians, Inc. (CDCYM) is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to provide a forum and opportunities for young musicians in our area to perform for development of their own musical talents and for the cultural enhancement of the community.
CDCYM is the sponsor of the Annual Chopin Piano Competition.

Welcome to all our 2018 participants! We will contact you in late summer to let you know the schedule for your Competition performance. You will have an opportunity to rehearse on the Steinway concert grand that will be used in the Competition. Until then, if you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.

*The Etude Award was added to the Chopin Master category for the 16th Annual Chopin Piano Competition and the recipient received a cash prize of $200.
